Sue is a strong, faith-filled woman who has endured heartache while continuing to trust in the Lord and the quiet care of her neighbors. She is a blessing to her community—always willing to share what she has before ever asking for help herself.

Concern for Sue’s safety grew during seasons of extreme heat and cold. Her home lacked reliable climate control, and several areas had become unsafe. When Kingdoms Crew evaluated the situation, volunteers quickly stepped in to help. A new heating and cooling system was installed, the garage door was replaced to properly seal the home, and repairs were made to improve safety throughout the property. Volunteers also built a new deck by hand, restoring a space Sue could use with confidence.

With these updates, Sue’s home became safer, more comfortable, and more affordable to maintain year-round. The new deck brought an unexpected blessing as well—revealing a love for gardening shared between Sue and her son. Together, they began caring for the space, discovering purpose, beauty, and joy in tending to what God had provided.
